Majolica Majorca Honey Pump Lip Essence Review

For this post, I am reviewing Majolica Majorca's Honey Pump Lip Essence. I actually bought this lip essence with my sister (we bought one each!) on our lunch break a long time ago so this review is quite overdue.

The Honey Pump Lip Essence comes in a small clear plastic tube weighing 6.5 g. with a honey coloured plastic screw on cap. The tube has an illustration of a honey comb and the back of the tube is printed with either description or list of ingredients in Japanese (I'm not sure because I can't read Japanese).
See-through plastic tube makes it easy to check content level.

The lip essence has a slanting applicator making it easy to apply.

The lip essence is honey coloured and has a very nice watery jelly like texture making it easy to control when applying over lips. The glide is very smooth and it goes on clear and shiny like a clear lip gloss. It does not feel sticky and gives a nice wet shine on lips. It has a nice subtle sweet scent unlike most honey based products. The lip essence took some time to sink into my lips but after it did, my lips felt smooth and soft. There is also no tingling feeling upon application but I did notice a slight plumping effect though.

Here's a swatch of the lip essence:

If this lip essence is applied liberally your lips would have a mega-gloss look because of the mirror-like shiny effect it gives. I prefer to dab some off after the essence had seeped in so that the mirror-like gloss becomes less glaring and looked a little more subtler.

You can find more information about the product at Majolica Majorca's website.
The Honey Pump Lip Essence can be purchased at any Watsons stores for RM19.90.
